Eco-Tourism on Norfolk Island

Now, this is something to celebrate!

Norfolk Island has recently commissioned a pure EV rental fleet of 2 wheelers to promote eco-tourism with a good reason for why. Norfolk Island is a stunning and remote 36 square kilometre moped paradise with a laid-back atmosphere and a maximum speed limit of 50km/h with loads of amazing places to explore. And explore is what we did with Bartons Motor Group ambassadors Darren Lehmann and Michael Kasprowicz who came along with us for the ride on the Duo. We took in the sights, tackled winding roads, dodged cow pats and climbed mountains without challenge, emissions or noise.

There are so many people to say thank who have made this possible. Firstly, to the Norfolk Island Regional Council. Your vision for a sustainable island in every sense of the word, is remarkable. A big thank you to our head tech, JT, for the expert assembly of a fleet of 20 Benzina Zero Duo's. To Bartons Motor Group ambassadors Darren and Michael, you both took everything in your stride with a tight schedule, content to film and mopeds to ride. Finally, a massive thank you to Rachael Frame and the team at EVMoto Brisbane, part of Barton’s Motor Group who worked tirelessly to facilitate the best outcome for their client.
